GPOBA offers face-to-face training workshops and web-based e-learning on output-based aid (OBA) for staff of the World Bank Group, practitioners and other development partners.
 
The face-to-face workshops focus on the use of OBA approaches to improve delivery of basic services to the poor. They can be face-to-face or by videoconference.
 
The training covers subjects such as:
  • OBA core concepts
  • How to identify if OBA is suitable
  • Designing, implementing, and monitoring OBA projects
  • Fiduciary requirements (for World Bank Group staff)

The courses are interactive with real case studies, exercises, and discussions. They are taught by subject matter experts. 

Online Training
The e-learning course, Output-Based Aid: Theory and Practice, is an interactive online course designed to help development practitioners learn the fundamentals of OBA. The course has five modules that are designed to reflect the cycle of an OBA project and draw on OBA experience in the field.
