| Activity Objectives: | The project will provide training workshops to selected governments in developing countries, at the local and national levels. The workshops are designed to introduce the core principles of Output-Based Aid (OBA) and their application in different countries, and to share lessons learned. |

| Development Impact: | The project will equip selected governments in developing countries to use OBA more systematically in key areas such as sector budget management or, depending on the context, performance-based contracting and sector-wide approaches. In addition, the workshops will provide a forum to address government questions and/or concerns about OBA, and to encourage government support and buy-in for OBA. |

| GPOBA's role: | GPOBA will oversee the overall design and implementation of the program, including identification of qualified facilitators for workshops and the creation of specific training materials and programming. |
