December 18, 2006 -- As of December 12, 2006, the Netherlands Government has joined GPOBA as its newest donor. Over a period of three years, the Dutch contribution will amount to approximately US$28 million. This funding will support GPOBA toward providing performance based grants for the delivery of basic services to the poor, particularly in the water and sanitation sector in Sub-Saharan Africa.
