Feasibility Study: Integrated Solid Waste Management Services in Sikasso, Mali

Activity Objectives:
This activity is the completion of a study which aims to confirm whether an OBA approach would be feasible to help households in Sikasso who would not be able to pay the monthly fee for primary waste collection and the integrated waste collection management operating costs. The study will review/improve the scheme structure through desk research and interviews with local stakeholders.

The project has been approved by PMU.

Development Impact:

The expected outcome of the study will be to inform a detailed project proposal that will result in increase access to primary waste and integrated waste collection services for poor households in Sikasso, Mali.

GPOBA's role:

GPOBA will fund the cost of completing this feasibility study.
