Activity Objectives:

The study will review the portfolio of Output-Based Aid (OBA) projects and provide a comprehensive analysis of lessons learned, challenges faced by existing partners, and the most effective ways to manage access to financing constraints for potential  partners. Where possible, the study will analyze how households are financing their contribution to OBA schemes.

Development Impact:

The findings of this study will support GPOBA’s transition into a Center of Expertise by providing data to inform the design of new pilots, further scale-up and the “mainstreaming” of OBA schemes.

GPOBA's role:

GPOBA will pay for the services of a qualified consultant to design and deliver the study and facilitate access to the portfolio of OBA projects as well as existing and future partners.
