| Activity Objectives: | The objective of this activity is to publish the review of output-based aid (OBA) undertaken jointly by GPOBA and the IDA-IFC Secretariat as an official World Bank publication. The OBA Review aims to provide a more definite and practical understanding of lessons and best practice related to OBA approaches. Publishing it as a WB publication will enable GPOBA to share the lessons learned on OBA with a wider audience, including donors and governments who are interested in scaling-up and mainstreaming OBA approaches. The book will contribute to the ongoing debates within the international donor community on aid effectiveness and innovative financing mechanisms. The main indicators of success will be the number of copies of the book distributed, the number of people who attend the launch event, and the quality and quantity of pick-up the study gets in development publications and among development practitioners. |
